At its June 22 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:
Brentwood: Granted Humberto A. Mendez and Elda M. Munoz permission to establish an accessory apartment, south side of Garnet Drive, west of Wicks Road.
Oakdale: Granted Nancy Boland permission to build a two-story dwelling on lot with insufficient area and side yard, northeast corner of Shore Road and Ormond Avenue.
Ronkonkoma: Granted James
P. Dignam permission to build a one-story addition with basement and roofed-over porch with insufficient side yard and floor-area ratio, and granted permission to retain
a cellar entrance with insufficient front yard, south side of Dakota Street, west of Mohican Avenue.
Sayville: Granted J.E.J. Equities permission to establish nonconforming use of spray booth, southwest corner of Lincoln Avenue and Henry Street.
At the July 13 meeting, the Islip Zoning Board of Appeals:
Bay Shore: Granted Cumhur Aydin permission, for three years as amended, to retain a 6-foot fence on property line with insufficient setback and to use dwelling for a two-family, family-use only, northeast corner of Louisiana Avenue
and West Court.
Great River: Denied Zuhair and Yevette Nwaiser permission to relocate a 6-foot fence to property line with insufficient setback, southwest corner of Church Road and Woodhollow Road.
Oakdale: Granted Michael and Diane P. Quiroz permission to install an in-ground pool with insufficient side and rear yards, north side of LaSalle Place, east of Academy Lane.
Sayville: Granted Richard Stafford and Pamela Raymond permission to retain a detached garage with insufficient height, and retain a hot tub with insufficient side yard, north side of Browns River Road, west of River Road.
