Anniversary: Lori and Jim Singleton of Islip, 35 years

LORI AND JIM SINGLETON, of Islip, were wed Jan. 21, 1989, at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy’s Mariner Chapel, Kings Point, with a reception at the Officers' Club, followed by a Disney honeymoon. Jim, a retired Navy captain, is a senior policy analyst for the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C., and Lori is an accountant for the Daughters of Wisdom in Islip. They have two children. A European adventure is on the drawing board.
