70thSANTA AND BEN LO RUSSO of Roslyn Heights -- both originally from Manhattan -- were wed Feb. 15, 1942. They celebrated at a dinner with family and friends. Ben is a regular at Yankees games. Santa is a great cook who loves spending time with their three granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. They have two daughters.

60thMADELINE AND RALPH

LAPOLLA of Hicksville were wed Feb. 10, 1952. They celebrated Feb. 12 with a renewal of vows and party at their home. After Ralph served in the Korean War, they moved from Queens to Hicksville. In 2011 Ralph retired from Ralph's Appliance Repair Service Inc., the business they started together in 1974. They have three children (a fourth child is deceased), nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

60thJOSEPHINE AND NICHOLAS NAPOLI of Commack were wed Sept. 9, 1951, at St. Joseph's Church in Brooklyn. They celebrated at dinner with family and friends. They have renewed vows on every anniversary since their 50th. Nick is a Navy veteran who served in World War II. He is a retired orthodontist. Jo is a homemaker. They have seven children and 20 grandchildren.

51stMARIANNE AND RICHARD LANGONE of Roslyn Heights were married twice -- on Dec. 26, 1960, and on Aug. 26, 1961. They met on Valentine's Day in 1959. Their 50th anniversary party on Dec. 26, 2011, was cancelled by a blizzard, and a party on Aug. 28 was interrupted by Tropical Storm Irene. They finally held a celebration in September at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Glen Cove. They're retired and have three children (a fourth child is deceased) and eight grandchildren.

35thCAROL AND MICHAEL

GOLDMAN of East Setauket, formerly of Merrick, celebrated Feb. 19 at Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic with family. Michael is an Army veteran who served in Vietnam. He is a retired account rep for a wine and liquor wholesaler. Carol is a retired math teacher, dean, class adviser, mentor and coach with the Bethpage school district. They have one daughter and two grandchildren.

25thKATHLEEN AND JAMES

PASQUERELLA of Commack celebrated Feb. 14 with a day in the city for dinner and a show. James is a retired electrician. Kathleen is in the travel industry. They have three daughters.
