70thSUSAN AND JOSEPH SCALISE of Key Largo, Fla., and Oak Beach, were wed Aug. 2, 1942, at Church of St. Clement in Manhattan. They celebrated with dinner hosted by their son and his family. Joseph served as an Army Air Force medic during World War II. He retired as a supervisor from the New York City Department of Sanitation. Susan worked for Sperry Aerospace and retired from Grumman in Bethpage as a NASA soldering technician. They have two sons and seven grandchildren.
60thJOSEPHINE AND BOB LIEBL of Mineola were wed June 28, 1952. They celebrated with a dinner at Italian Garden in Westbury. They have two children and two granddaughters.
50thJOAN AND JERRY NOVELLI of Moriches were wed June 16, 1962, at Holy Cross Church in the Bronx. They celebrated with family and friends with dinner at a local restaurant. A family trip is planned. Jerry retired from Con Edison in College Point, Queens. Joan retired from Brentwood school district. They have four sons and 12 grandchildren.
40thKATHERINE AND THOMAS MACALUSO of Holbrook were wed July 22, 1972. They celebrated with a family trip to Saratoga. Thomas is a bus driver with First Student Inc. in Shoreham. Katherine works for The Church Bulletin in West Babylon. They have three daughters and two grandchildren.
39thBONNIE AND STU SOMAN of Bay Shore celebrated July 1 with a family brunch and cruise to Bermuda, where they honeymooned in 1973. Bonnie works at Adelphi University in the Speech and Hearing Center. Stu is retired and spends time with their three grandchildren. They have two children.
