MARION AND JIM SEDDON of Hicksville were wed March 3, 1951. They celebrated with family and friends on a Caribbean cruise followed by a party at the Villa Avanzo in Amityville. Jim, an Army Signal Corps veteran, is retired from General Electric in Melville. The couple met at a roller skating rink in Mineola and went on to raise their four children. They have six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

60th

ANNETTE AND LEONARD BLOOM of Great Neck celebrated March 24. The couple met on the second day of their freshman year at Long Island University in 1947 and married four years later at the Hotel St. George in Brooklyn. Leonard worked in men's clothing, and Annette joined him in 1982 when they formed Oscar de la Renta Formalwear Co. under a licensing agreement. They worked together for 11 years until they sold the business. Annette loves mah-jongg, and the couple play bridge together. Leonard launched the eBay volunteer group at the Great Neck Senior Center. They have two children and two grandchildren.

60th

ANITA AND JIM ILARDI of Smithtown were wed Jan. 21, 1951. They celebrated by renewing their vows during Mass at St. Thomas More Church in Hauppauge and later enjoyed a dinner with family. Jim and Anita met as children in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. Jim, a retired music teacher from the Plainview-Old Bethpage school district, still works as a piano player at various events. Anita was a stay-at-home mom who worked part time and volunteered for various organizations. They have six children, 14 grandchildren with another on the way and two great-grandchildren.

JO AND ANTHONY RICCIARDI, residents of West Islip for 47 years, were wed March 4, 1951. A dinner party was held at Villa Monaco's in West Islip with friends and family. Anthony is retired, and Jo has been a homemaker. They have four children and five grandchildren.

50th

MARGARET AND EDWARD HANSEN, formerly of Smithtown, now residing in Port St. Lucie, Fla., were wed Feb. 4, 1961, in Queens. They celebrated with a Caribbean cruise. Ed is a retired LIRR conductor and Marge currently works for the Mets in Florida. They have 10 children and 23 grandchildren.
