Nassau and Suffolk anniversaries
60th
MARIE AND MARIO DIMARCO of North Bellmore, originally from Astoria, celebrated their aniversary on Oct. 29 with a dinner attended by their family. Mario and Marie are both retired. They have three daughters and five grandchildren.
50th
KALLIOPI AND DIAMANTIS MADIAS of Uniondale celebrated their anniversary on Feb. 12. Diamantis is a retired house painter, and Kalliopi is a homemaker. After the couple married in Greece, they moved to New York. They enjoy taking day trips on Long Island and spending time with their family. They have three children and three grandchildren.

JACQUI AND JAY PALATNIK of Middle Island celebrated Feb. 19 with their five children and four grandchildren at a family dinner prepared by their son, who is a professional chef. Jacqui and Jay are both sales agents to furniture stores and have just started a bedbug extermination company, Cerebrus Environmental Service.
40th
LINDA AND LARRY ROTH of Brightwaters were wed Jan. 23, 1971. A party is planned, to be followed by a cruise. Linda retired from J.P. Morgan and enjoys cooking, baking and making crafts. Larry is a retired senior financial executive who enjoys keeping up the with stock market, genealogy and gardening. They have two children and one grandson.

JOANNE AND CHRIS
VARRICHIO of Brookhaven celebrated Feb. 6 with family and friends. Joanne is a licensed certified social worker who works as an adolescent therapist. Chris is an investigator for the Inspector General of the Workers' Compensation Board. They have two children and two grandchildren.

LILLIAN AND LLOYD BAUM of Long Beach were married Dec. 7, 1975. They celebrated with friends and family in Orlando, Fla., after a pre-celebration in Paris. Lillian is an accountant and a financial planner, and Lloyd is employed as the director of insurance for a private company in Lynbrook. They enjoy walking on the boardwalk whenever they can.
