63rdSALLY AND BILL KIENINGER of Missoula, Mont., formerly of Medford celebrated Dec. 29 with family. Bill retired from the United States Postal Service in Medford. He served as post commander at VFW Post 2937 in Medford, where Sally served as president of the Ladies Auxiliary. They have five children, 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
60thHARRIET AND CHUCK BLANK of North Hills were wed Dec. 22, 1951, at the St. Moritz hotel in Manhattan. They celebrated with their two children, daughter-in-law and four grandchildren at Trattoria Diane in Roslyn and are planning a cruise in the spring. They met at an NYU fraternity dance and were married when they were 19 years old. Chuck is a Korean War veteran and a retired CPA. Harriet is a nutritionist and owns The New You Diet, a consulting firm in New Hyde Park.
60thGLORIA AND MANUEL LOPEZ of Levittown, formerly of Ridgewood were wed on Dec. 22, 1951. They moved from their native Ponce, Puerto Rico, in 1951. A celebration was held Dec. 30 at Hemingway's in Wantagh. Manuel is retired from Fedders Corp. Gloria is a homemaker. They have four children, nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
50thJUDITH AND JOSEPH THAMM of East Northport were wed Sept. 24, 1961. They celebrated with family and friends at The Mill Pond House in Centerport. Joe retired from his own kitchen remodeling business. Judy is retired from Commack school district. They have three children and nine grandchildren.
35thNANCY AND ROLAND FAYAUD of Kings Park celebrated Aug. 8 with a 10-day Alaskan cruise aboard The Coral Princess. Nancy is a teacher at New Discovery Learning Center in Kings Park. Roland is a retired chef and now drives a school bus for Huntington Coach. They have five children.
