JULIA AND JOHN GIBLIN, formerly of Garden City, now residing in Naples, Fla., celebrated their anniversary on Oct. 23 at the Davenport Press in Mineola. Their family gathered together from up and down the East Coast. In attendance were their four children, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and their spouses. They renewed their vows at St. John the Evangelist Church in Naples, with a special blessing by the Very Rev. John J. Ludden, and received a certificate from President Barack Obama.

EVA AND ED COLLINS of Hicksville were married Oct. 7, 1945. They celebrated with family on a cruise to the Bahamas. Eva is retired from the Nassau County Police Department, and Ed is a retired manager for Sears. They have three children, three grandchildren and a great-grandson.

DOLORES AND RICHARD BANKS of Massapequa Park were married Nov. 6, 1969. They celebrated with a Broadway show and a night at the Waldorf Astoria. Richard is retired from Brooklyn Union Gas Co., and Dolores is employed at Jamaica Hospital. They have three sons and three grandchildren.

PEGGY AND KURT LUNDQUIST of North Babylon celebrated Sept. 26 at a surprise party at Villa Monaco in West Islip hosted by their family. Kurt is a financial adviser with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans in Babylon and is on the board of directors of Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf. Peggy is a researcher at Newsday in Melville. They have three children and seven grandchildren.

LAURA AND ALAN CENTOFRANCHI of Rockville Centre celebrated their anniversary on July 3 with close friends and family aboard the Eastern Star, taking an elegant evening sail with food and music from the Flushing marina down the East River to the Statue of Liberty. They have two children and one grandchild.
