ROSEANNE AND MICHAEL LYNCH of New Hyde Park were married on Feb. 20, 1960. They celebrated with family and friends at The Inn at New Hyde Park. Michael is retired from Ogden-Allied Maintenance Corp., and Roseanne is retired from the Great Neck School District. They have two children and four grandchildren.

CORINE AND RICHARD CASAGRANDE of Wantagh were married April 23, 1960, at Ascension Church in Elmhurst. They celebrated by renewing their vows and had a family weekend with their four children, their spouses and 13 grandchildren. Richard is a retired mechanical engineer, and Corine is a retired salesperson.

MARYLYN AND WILLIAM MCTERNAN of Stony Brook celebrated May 14. They met in New Jersey when Bill was working as a reporter for the former Newark Evening News. He retired from Newsday after 40 years as a reporter and an editor. Marylyn retired from the biochemistry department at Stony Brook University. They have four children and two grandchildren.

BARBARA AND VICTOR

VOHWINKEL of Sayville were married May 14, 1960, at St. Martha's Church in Uniondale. Victor was an Elmont volunteer firefighter and is a retired mechanical engineer from Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage. Barbara is a retired commercial artist. They have six children, 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

KATHLEEN AND THOMAS JOSEPH FITZGERALD of Garden City Park were married April 22, 1961, in the Bronx. Long Island has been their home for 45 years. They celebrated with their six children and 16 grandchildren.

KAREN AND FRANK SALZANO of Farmingdale celebrated July 14, 2009, with a polar bear expedition to the North Pole. Frank is a systems analyst with the Air National Guard. Karen is a fifth-grade teacher in Plainedge. They enjoy traveling and are the parents of a daughter and a son.
