60thROSE AND HARVEY ZAKS of Plainview celebrated on March 3. A New Year's trip is planned to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with their two children and spouses and four grandchildren. Harvey retired from his own civil engineer business after 50 years and is a World War II Army veteran. They winter in Delray Beach, Fla.
60thMARGARET (DOLLY) AND MICHAEL TETRO, longtime residents of Elmont, celebrated Nov. 10 at a dinner with family at Pompeii in West Hempstead. Michael is a World War II veteran and recipient of the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He retired from the Postal Service after 40 years. He is a member of American Legion Post 1033, DAV Post 109 and a volunteer with St. Vincent DePaul's outreach program. Margaret is a homemaker and a member of American Legion Post 1033 and the Ladies Auxiliary. They have three children and two granddaughters.
60thMARIAN AND JOHN INSINGA of North Bellmore were wed Oct. 27, 1951, and celebrated with family at Absolutely Mario in Farmingdale. John is a World War II Navy veteran and is retired from Allied Devices in Hicksville. Marian is retired from Roslyn Savings Bank. They enjoy traveling and gardening.
60thLIL AND JOE IANNUCCI, formerly of Westbury and now residing in Rockville Centre, celebrated in Hampton Bays with their four children, spouses and 10 grandchildren at a weeklong family reunion.
60thLORRAINE AND ALLEN
ALBERT of Oceanside and Delray Beach, Fla., were wed on Nov. 22, 1951, and celebrated with family at an Italian restaurant. Allen is retired, and Lorraine works part-time as an administrative assistant in an appraisal office. Allen enjoys golfing and watching his children's dogs. Lorraine enjoys reading, canasta and mah-jongg. They both enjoy spending time with their three children and eight grandchildren.
50thEVELYN AND THOMAS
MURPHY of Hicksville were wed Nov. 25, 1961, at St. Francis Xavier Church in the Bronx. They celebrated with a luncheon at Milleridge Inn on Nov. 26. Tom retired from Co-op City Power Plant in the Bronx. Evelyn retired from the New York Telephone Co. in Manhattan and also worked at Sears in Hicksville and in the Hicksville schools. They have four children and five grandchildren.
