SAMUELS of Wantagh were wed June 15, 1952. They celebrated with their children and grandchildren. Gladys and Irving are currently retired. Gladys served as the past president of Island Scribes, as a volunteer at the Lighthouse and, practices as a calligrapher. Irving is a volunteer tax return preparer for seniors in the VITA program, a sculptor, and a senior observer at Nassau Community College. They have three children, one of whom is deceased, and six grandchildren.

60thCARMELA AND GEORGE TARANTINO of Hewlett were wed June 1, 1952. They plan to celebrate this month with a dinner at Passione Restaurant in Carle Place with their family. They also have tickets to see "Jersey Boys" in August. They enjoy outdoor entertainment in the parks and going out to dinner. They have four children and five grandchildren.

60thJULIA AND CHARLES

SPARROW, residents of Baldwin for 56 years, were wed June 8, 1952. They celebrated with a family dinner at Pier 95 in Freeport. Charles is a retired accountant from Sterling Drugs and an Army veteran. Julia is a retired secretary with the Baldwin School District. They have four children and eight grandchildren.

60thMARY AND JIM CAMPBELL of Port Jefferson, formerly of Port Washington, were wed June 7, 1952. They celebrated with friends and family at La Piccola Liguria in Port Washington. Jim is a retired CEO in the photography industry in Manhattan. Mary is a retired art curator in Glen Cove. They have three children and six grandchildren.

60thREINE AND HAROLD KATZ of Floral Park were wed July 6, 1952. They celebrated with brunch at the Glen Head Country Club with family and friends. Harold is a retired advertising agency owner with Reine at the helm for 40 years. They have two married sons and four grandchildren. Working together, sharing and caring is part of their success story.

BRODER of East Meadow were married on June 18, 1972, at the East Meadow Jewish Center. They celebrated with a trip to Costa Rica. Laura is a retired teacher in Westbury. Michael is a salesman. They have two married children and four grandchildren.
