Nassau County anniversaries

60thANITA AND PHILIP LORIO of Bellerose celebrated July 14 at a dinner with family. Anita retired from St. John's University and Philip from Columbia University. They have two children, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

55thCAROL AND ANTHONY

TUZZOLO of Mineola were wed July 1, 1956, in Brooklyn. They celebrated with their family at the Milleridge Inn. Anthony is an electrical contractor, and Carol is a homemaker who excels in tennis and golf. They enjoy travel, dining out and spending time with their five children and 15 grandchildren.

55thNOELLE AND SEAN

MACDONNELL of Greenlawn were wed June 27, 1956. Sean is retired from General Instruments in Hicksville. Noelle is a retired executive secretary from Gertz / Sterns in Commack. They have two children and three grandchildren.

50thDOLORES AND ARTIE DROMERHAUSER of Sayville, formerly of Bay Shore, were wed June 3, 1961, at St. Patrick's Church in Bay Shore. They renewed their vows at a Mass led by Bishop William Murphy at St. Lawrence the Martyr Church in Sayville and celebrated with a family dinner at the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip. Eight of their 10 children survive, and they have 20 grandchildren.

50thTERRY AND JERRY ARICO of Farmingdale were wed June 24, 1961, at Most Precious Blood Church in Astoria. They celebrated with a party at their son's house on June 25. Jerry retired from the New York Police Department and served with the Marines in the Korean War. Terry retired from Nassau County Health and Human Services. A trip to Ireland is planned. They have three children and five grandchildren.

30thTHERESA AND AL BANKE of Massapequa Park were wed on Aug. 1, 1981. The renewed their vows at St. Raphael's Church in East Meadow, where they had first married. Their children served as maid of honor and best man. The celebration continued with a dinner party at the Fox Hollow Inn in Woodbury, site of their original reception. A trip to Rome, Venice and Florence, Italy is being planned.
