65thRUTH AND ARNO HELLER of Rego Park were wed Nov. 28, 1946. They celebrated with family and friends at a luncheon and with a cruise in December. Both are Holocaust survivors. They met in the Catskills in July 1946. Arno is a U.S. Army veteran, having served in North Africa, Sicily and Normandy. He was in the food business with their son on Sixth Avenue in Manhattan. They have two granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
65thMADELINE AND RICKEY CADOLINO of North Bellmore, formerly of Elmont, were wed Nov. 10, 1946. They celebrated at the Carltun in Eisenhower Park with their two daughters and two grandchildren. Rickey worked 60 years for Dan's Supreme Supermarket as director of meat operations, and Madeline worked as a library assistant in the Elmont school district for 25 years.
61stPEARL AND DELBERT
HANCOCK of New Hyde Park were wed March 23, 1950. They celebrated with family at the Schooner in Freeport. Delbert is a Korean War veteran and retired from Key Food. Pearl retired from the Fortunoff jewelry department in Westbury. They have two children and two grandchildren.
60thGENA AND STANLEY
URBANOWSKI of North Babylon were wed Nov. 17, 1951, at St. Malachy R.C. Church in Brooklyn. They celebrated at a family dinner hosted by their three children. Stanley is a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the New York City Police Department. Gena retired from Airborne Instrument Laboratory in Deer Park. They have two grandchildren.
59thMARY AND AURELIO "LEO" ROMEU of Central Islip were wed Nov. 9, 1952, when Leo returned after serving in the U.S. Army in Korea. Leo retired from the New York City Department of Sanitation. One of their two sons is deceased. They also have six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
50thJOSEPH AND JOSEPHINE WALKER of Garden City were wed April 29, 1961, at St. Joseph's Church in upstate Deposit. They renewed their vows at Maria Regina Church in Massapequa on May 1. They celebrated with family and friends at a party given by their four children and four grandchildren at Plattduetsche Park in Franklin Square. Joseph works at Coral Graphics in Hicksville, and Josephine is a homemaker.
