Nassau County anniversaries, Oct. 6

70thJOAN AND RALPH KEEFE, longtime residents of Oceanside, were wed Sept. 8, 1943. They met in 1943 at a USO event in Long Beach and four months later were married. They are both still very active. Joan is a volunteer at St. Anthony's Parish. Ralph, a retired commercial artist, continues to paint portraits. They have two children, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

60thELIZABETH AND MARIO GASPARRO of Plainview were wed Sept. 19, 1953. They celebrated at a dinner with family. Mario is a retired steamfitter from Local 638. Elizabeth is a retired dental secretary. They have three children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

55thROSE AND RON PARADISO of Greenvale and Naples, Fla., were wed Sept. 28, 1958, at St. Andrew's Church in Flushing, Queens. Rose retired from Long Island University in Brookville. Ron is a semi-

retired Realtor. They have two sons and five grandchildren.

DILULLOof Hauppauge and Naples, Fla., were wed Aug. 9, 1958, at St. Gabriel Church in East Elmhurst, Queens. They celebrated with family at Casa Rustica in Smithtown. The celebration continued on a cruise on the Adriatic Sea with friends. Carmine retired as vice president of Lockwood Greene Engineers in Manhattan. Marie is a homemaker. They have four children and five grandchildren.

40thCHRIS AND TOM GUNNIP of Bethpage were wed Sept. 23, 1973, at St. William the Abbot Church in Seaford. They celebrated by renewing vows at a family dinner with their three daughters, sons-in-law, five grandchildren and other family members. Tom is a funeral director. Chris is a staffing coordinator. A European vacation is planned for the spring.

25thJOSEPHINE AND ANGELO MONTEFORTEof Westbury were wed Aug. 27, 1988. They celebrated with family and friends at their home. Angelo and Josephine own AFM Improvements Inc., a construction business in Westbury. They have three sons.
