70th

ANNE AND STEVE BINDUS, of Rosedale, were wed June 19, 1941, in Cleveland. Steve is a U.S. Army veteran who served three years in combat during World War II. He worked in a steel mill, as an ironworker and as a carpenter. Anne worked in Blum's department store before she retired. She enjoys cooking and gardening and crochet work. They have three children, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

60th

BETTY AND AL PUGLIANO, formerly of Baldwin, now residing in Fort Pierce, Fla., were wed June 16, 1951. They celebrated in Miami with family in May. Betty is a retired data entry operator, and Al is a retired pharmacist. They enjoy playing cards, boccie and visiting local casinos. They have four children, eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

60th

PETER AND NANCY LOMBARDO, of Syosset, were wed June 10, 1951, in Brooklyn. They celebrated at the Inn at New Hyde Park with family. They have two children and five grandchildren.

50th

BARBARA AND JIM CIOFFI, of East Meadow, were wed June 17, 1961. They renewed their vows at St. Barnabas Church with family and friends on June 18. They continued the celebration at Antonette's restaurant in Bellmore. They met on a blind date in 1957 that was set up by their two best friends. Jim is a retired plumbing contractor and owned his own business for 25 years. Barbara spent her early years raising her three children and working part-time. They have seven grandchildren.

MYRNA AND BARRY

CENTER, of Plainview, were wed May 27, 1961, in Brooklyn. They celebrated with a Broadway show and dinner at Le Marais restaurant with their two daughters, sons-in-law and four grandchildren. They continued their celebration with a cruise to Canada and New England with friends.

JENNIE AND BERNARD CHIECO, of Centereach, were wed May 28, 1961, in Brooklyn. They celebrated with a family vacation to Orlando, Fla. Bernie is a semiretired delicatessen owner. Jane is a homemaker. They have four children, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
