Nassau County anniversaries: Sept. 8

65thMARY AND JOHN (JACK) REIDYof North Haven were wed Aug. 28, 1948, at St. Mary's Church in Flushing, Queens. Jack is a U.S. Navy veteran who survived the sinking of the USS Brownson (DD-518) on Dec. 26, 1943, in the South Pacific. He is a retired plumber. Mary is a retired library clerk. They have five children, 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

55thMARGARET AND CARL

SKERISof Remsenburg, formerly of Lynbrook, were wed Aug. 10, 1958, at Grace Lutheran Church in Malverne. A cross-country trip is planned. Carl retired from Guy Pratt Inc. in Holtsville as a construction supervisor. Marge is a retired hairdresser. They have five children and eight grandchildren.

50thTHERESA AND MICHAEL NASTRI of North Massapequa were wed July 13, 1963, in Brooklyn. They renewed vows at Maria Regina Church in Seaford, then celebrated with family and friends at the North Ritz Club. Mike is a retired math teacher from East Meadow, a wrestling and lacrosse official in Nassau County, and a ticket-taker at Nassau Coliseum. Theresa is a homemaker. They have three married daughters and seven grandchildren, with another expected in November.

40thBONNIE AND BARRY

GOLDSTEIN, longtime residents of East Meadow, were wed Sept. 2, 1973. They celebrated with a family trip to Florida. They have two children and one granddaughter.

30thROSEANNE AND TONY

CATANZANO of Seaford were wed Aug. 27, 1983, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Brooklyn. They celebrated at a surprise party hosted by their three children. Roseanne works in the office of admissions at Molloy College in Rockville Centre.

CHRISTOPHER PYZYNSKI of North Massapequa were wed Sept. 3, 1988, at St. Hedwig's RC Church in Floral Park. They celebrated with family and friends at a party where they renewed vows with Deacon Tom Daid. Christine works at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset. Christopher works for WDF Inc. in Mount Vernon. They have two children.
