60th
BARBARA ANN AND GEORGE GOEHRING of Westbury were married in the First Presbyterian Church in Elmhurst on April 29, 1950. They celebrated with their family and parish at the Parkway Community Church in Hicksville. George was a B-24 pilot during World War II. He met his wife after the war at Pratt Institute of Art, where they were students. George ran a home-based advertising agency, where Barbara Ann also worked, until they retired in 2004. They both display their artworks at shows and competitions and have won many awards. They have five children, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one on the way.
60th
CAROLINE AND JOSEPH PANTATELLO of Levittown were married April 16, 1950, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in the Bronx. Joseph met Caroline on a clandestine blind date orchestrated by her older brother, Charlie, who had served with Joseph in World War II. They celebrated with their children and grandchildren at the Porto Fino restaurant in Levittown. Caroline is a retired child care professional. Joseph is retired from PM Range Hoods and Pantel Binders, both Farmingdale-based businesses. Caroline enjoys knitting, reading and reviewing pages of Joseph's first drafts of his second book. They have four children and six grandchildren.

ANNE AND RICHARD CURTIN of Farmingdale were married Sept. 12, 1950. They celebrated with family. Richard is retired from the State Parkway Police. They have two children and five grandchildren.
50th
JOYCE AND JOHN GLASER of Middle Island, formerly of Woodhaven, were married Jan. 9, 1960, at St. Barbara's Church in Brooklyn. They renewed their vows at St. Lawrence the Martyr Church in Sayville. Joyce retired from Queens College and teaches tap dancing to seniors and performs for local nursing homes and senior centers. John retired from Metropolitan Tobacco in Long Island City. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus. They have two daughters, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

REV. CYNTHIA AND REV. MICHAEL BURNS of North Babylon celebrated April 13. They are the founding pastors of Real Church at Christian Joy Fellowship in Bellmore, which also celebrated its 25th anniversary. They celebrated both milestones with a party at the Coral House in Baldwin. They have one son.
