65thCARMELA AND RALPH ROMEO, residents of Bethpage since 1955, celebrated at their home with family on June 29. They were engaged after Ralph returned from World War II in December 1945. They were married on June 29, 1946, and have three children, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

BRIDGET AND MARIO DELL'AERA, residents of Levittown for 47 years, were childhood sweethearts in the Bronx. They were married on May 26, 1956, and celebrated this year with a family dinner at Domenico's in Levittown. Bridget is retired from LILCO. Mario is retired from Garrett Aviation. They have four children and 12 grandchildren.

BARBARA AND ED WIEMANN of East Meadow were wed April 8, 1961. They celebrated with family at Westbury Manor. Barbara and Ed enjoy camping and boating and are active with various clubs. Ed is a retired New York City firefighter and enjoys flying model airplanes at Cedar Creek Park. They have two children and four grandchildren.

JOAN AND DAVE MCQUADE of Lido Beach, formerly of North Bellmore, were wed June 10, 1961, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Queens Village. They celebrated with a renewal of vows and reception at Jericho Terrace with family and friends. They also celebrated on a Caribbean cruise with friends including a stop in Bermuda, where they spent their honeymoon. Dave is retired from the New York City fire department and United Airlines. Joan worked for Metropolitan Life and Bide-A-Wee. They have three daughters and six grandchildren.

DOROTHY AND LARRY ABRAMS of Seaford were wed June 17, 1961. Dorothy was from Boston and Larry was from the Bronx. They met on a blind date and fell in love. They had many celebrations and dinners with their three children, their spouses and eight grandchildren. They love dining out and going to shows.

BONNIE AND STUART SOMAN of Bay Shore were wed July 1, 1973. They celebrated with a trip to Charleston, S.C. Bonnie is the director of the Speech and Hearing Center at Adelphi University. Stuart is a retired technology teacher at West Hempstead High School. They have two children and three grandchildren.
