CALENDRILLE of Bethpage were wed Oct. 14, 1951, at Holy Ghost Church in Borough Park, Brooklyn. They celebrated at a family dinner at Testarossa Cafe in Syosset on Oct. 2. They met in 1948 while on the job at Arma Corp. in Brooklyn. Both had careers in technical publications, and both retired from Grumman Aerospace Corp. in 1992. John has been an usher at St. Martin of Tours Church in Bethpage for 12 years. They have two children (a third is deceased) and three grandchildren.
50thMARIE AND PAUL
CHRISTIAN of Massapequa Park were wed Sept. 16, 1961. They celebrated with family and friends at a party at the American Legion hall in Massapequa. Paul is retired from the New York City Fire Department. They have four children and eight grandchildren.
50thLORETTA AND HENRY KUNZ of Bellerose were wed Oct. 7, 1961. They renewed their vows at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection in Garden City. A cruise to Bermuda, where they honeymooned, is planned. They have three daughters and four grandchildren.
50thMAGGIE AND NESTOR
BARREZUETA of East Meadow arrived from Ecuador 49 years ago and were wed Oct. 7, 1961. They celebrated with a family dinner. A cruise to the Bahamas is planned. Nestor retired as a system engineer supervisor for Electronic Data Systems in New York City. Maggie worked several years for Texaco Co. They are both doing volunteer work and enjoying their family of three children and five grandchildren.
50thFRAN AND PAUL NOCELLA of Massapequa were wed Oct. 29, 1961, at St. Boniface Church in Elmont. They celebrated with a family dinner and a Mediterranean cruise. Paul is a retired Newsday circulation manager. Fran works for the Massapequa Chamber of Commerce. They have two children and four grandchildren.
40thLOUISE (CHICKIE) AND TOM WALSH of Levittown were wed Oct. 2, 1971, at St. Mary Gate of Heaven in Ozone Park. They renewed their vows at St. James Chapel in Seaford with their three children, their children's spouses and their seven grandchildren. They celebrated at La Parma Restaurant in Williston Park. Their children presented them with a stay at the Montauk Manor. Tom is a 44-year member of Steamfitters Local 638 and Chickie is a retired legal secretary.
