SHIRLEY AND HERB

STANASLOFSKY of Merrick were wed Nov. 18, 1950, in Brooklyn. They celebrated with family at the Carltun on the Park in East Meadow. Herb was a manufacturer in Freeport since 1976. Shirley ran the office. They sold the business in July 2008 and retired in October 2008. They have two daughters and one grandson.

PAULINE AND CHARLIE

WISNIEWSKI, formerly of Valley Stream, were wed Nov. 25, 1950, during a hurricane. They celebrated at a dinner with family at the Milleridge Inn on Dec. 4. Pauline and Charlie currently live in North Salem, where they have been active in the community for the past 31 years. They have three daughters and four grandchildren.

CAROL AND ELLIOT TESCHER of Wantagh were wed Dec. 25, 1960, in Brooklyn. They celebrated with family and friends at a party given by their son and daughter-in-law at Carltun on the Park in East Meadow. Carol retired from the A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility, and Elliot is a semiretired accountant. They have twin grandsons.

INGE AND WALTER OTTEN of Massapequa Park celebrated on Nov. 6 with more than 40 close friends at Il Felice in Seaford. Walter is a retired cabinetmaker. Inge is a retired chef who dotes on their five grandsons. They have two children.

MARY AND JOHN HUGGINS of Bay Shore were wed Nov. 26, 1960, at St. John the Evangelist Church in Riverhead. The couple celebrated by renewing their vows at Christ the King R.C. Church in Commack and with a Caribbean cruise and a family dinner. Jack retired from TWA at Kennedy Airport, then worked for Toyota in Westbury. He now works part-time at BAB Radiology in Bay Shore. Mary retired from Stern's department store in Massapequa. They have four children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

MARGARET AND SAL

MESSINEO, lifelong residents of Lindenhurst, were wed Friday, Dec. 13, 1985. They celebrated on a southern Caribbean cruise. Sal is an air traffic controller at New York Center. Margaret is a homemaker. They have two daughters.
