Garden City South

Jewelry, including a gold watch, was stolen from a Roxbury Road South residence June 11.

Jewelry and a TV were stolen during a burglary at a Third Place residence June 11.

Glen Cove

A 20-year-old man was arrested June 6 on Forest Avenue and charged with criminal trespass, third degree; resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

A 43-year-old man was arrested June 9 on Glen Street and charged with grand larceny, third degree; identity theft, first degree; and falsifying business records, first degree.

ELSEWHERE

Bellmore

Passports, money and jewelry were stolen June 12 from an apartment on Pettit Place.

East Meadow

A 2000 Nissan pickup truck was discovered stolen June 12 from North Jerusalem Road.

Massapequa

The steel door on a storage shed at the Budget Inn on Carman Mill Road was discovered pried open June 8, and two TVs and paperwork were stolen.

A window on a vehicle parked in a lot near Macy's at the Sunrise Mall was broken June 9, and a leather satchel containing items that included a wallet, textbooks, laptop and a camera was stolen.

Landscaping equipment worth $3,000 was discovered stolen from a shed on Clocks Boulevard on June 10.

Massapequa Park

On June 8, a Massapequa Park woman, 69, accidentally accelerated her vehicle while parking at the post office on Merrick Road. Her vehicle struck a parked vehicle, shrubbery and the building, causing substantial damage. The woman was transported to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Merrick

Three vehicles parked in lots at the Long Island Rail Road station were broken into June 10. Items stolen included loose change and GPS units.

A 2,000-watt generator, an 18,000-watt bulb and a crank-up stand were discovered stolen June 9 from an 18-wheeler tractor trailer parked on Woodpecker Lane.

North Merrick

A chain-link fence at Harold D. Fayette Elementary School on Merrick Avenue was cut June 10.

Wantagh

Two iPods and two credit cards were stolen June 7 from a pocketbook in a vehicle parked on Cypress Street. A surveillance video noted an unknown man who wore a bandanna over his mouth and rode up on a bicycle.
