Reports from county or village police, June 27-July 3
A laptop and camera were stolen during a State Street residential burglary June 28. A bedroom window was left open, and the bedroom had been ransacked.
A credit card was stolen June 27 from a residence on Renison Drive.
Jewelry was discovered stolen June 28 from a residence on Central Avenue.
A catalytic converter was stolen June 28 from a vehicle parked at TGI Friday's on Merrick Avenue.
ELSEWHERE
On June 28, while an Edna Court resident was napping, an unknown intruder entered the home and stole a laptop and accessories.
Baldwin Middle School on Schreiber Place was broken into and ransacked July 2.
A flat-screen TV was stolen from a Hughes Street residence July 3. Entry was gained through an upstairs bathroom window.
Four tires on a Ford van parked on Legion Street were slashed July 3.
Jewelry was reported stolen from a Merrick Avenue residence July 1.
A 2003 Volkswagen was stolen June 27 from Gas Stop on Sheridan Boulevard. The vehicle was left running while the driver went inside to pay the cashier.

A 2002 Mazda Millennium was stolen from Parkside Road on June 29.
A man was observed allegedly pushing over a cement eagle statue and shifting a second statue off its pedestal at the American Legion hall on Veterans Boulevard on July 2. The loss was valued at $500.
Hotel paperwork and guest information, including copies of driver's licenses and other personal information, were discovered stolen from behind the front desk of Best Western Bar Harbour Inn on Sunrise Highway on June 29.
A Cedar Street home was discovered burglarized July 1, and jewelry, furs and household items were stolen.
A laptop was stolen from a vehicle parked at Hofstra University on June 29.
A 1989 Honda Civic was discovered stolen from the parking lot at Sunrise Multiplex Cinemas on June 27.
A unknown suspect stole a pocketbook containing $25 and credit cards from a pedestrian on Gold Street on June 29.
A laptop computer was discovered stolen July 3 from a 2008 Nissan Versa parked on Regent Place.
A GPS navigation system was discovered stolen July 3 from a 2008 Chrysler parked on Concord Avenue.
