Shopping carts were discovered damaged May 25 at IGA Supermarket
on Bayville Avenue.
A 54-year-old man was arrested May 25 on Gaffney Street and charged with assault, second degree and criminal possession of a weapon, third degree.
A 28-year-old man was arrested May 27 and charged with public lewdness.
Jewelry and coins were stolen from a Parkside Drive location May 24.
A GPS unit was stolen May 23 from a vehicle parked on North Broadway.
A Dale Avenue residence was burglarized May 25, and jewelry was stolen.
A computer and printer were discovered stolen May 24 from New Faces Development Center on Woodbury Road.
GPS units were stolen May 25 from two vehicles parked at Crest Hollow Country Club on Jericho Turnpike.
A Beldell Street residence was burglarized May 28. Jewelry was stolen.
Someone entered the yard of H.T. Steel Erectors on Smith Street May 23 and stole 72 feet of steel pipes and 36 feet of I-beams.
Jewelry and money were stolen from a residence on Gerald Avenue on May 28. Entry was made through an unlocked rear door.
A Long Beach man, 51, was arrested May 29 for driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
A catalytic converter was stolen May 26 from a 2002 Toyota parked in a Long Island Rail Road lot at Broadway and Sunrise Highway.
On May 29, two young men allegedly jumped up and down on a vehicle parked on Thomas Street, causing damage to the vehicle's hood and windshield. One of
the subjects was apprehended a short distance from the scene, and the other was arrested at his home.
A young man was arrested for causing damage to two vehicles on May 29. He is charged with walking with three acquaintances on Washington Street and throwing a large metal garbage can at two parked vehicles.
