ACTIONS

At its March 2 meeting, the town board:

Authorized the town clerk to advertise for bid 10-012: art and crafts supplies, to be returned to Town Hall, 99 W. Main St., P.O. Box 646, Smithtown, 11787, at 11 a.m. on March 18.

Authorize the town clerk to advertise for bid 10-013: sporting goods, to be returned to Town Hall, 99 W. Main St., P.O. Box 646, Smithtown, 11787, at 11 a.m. on March 18.

Authorized bid 10-001: Northeast Branch Nissequogue River Wetlands Restoration Phase 1, to Terry Contracting and Materials, Inc., as per bids opened Feb. 24, and further authorized the supervisor to sign an agreement on a form approved by the town attorney.

Authorized the town clerk to issue a parade/run/walk permit to the St. James Chamber of

Commerce for its annual St. Patrick's Day parade, and to notify the proper authorities.

Authorized the town clerk to issue a parade/run/walk permit to VFW Post 9263 for its annual Memorial Day parade, and to notify the proper authorities.

Authorized the town clerk to issue a parade/run/walk permit to the Knights of Columbus for its annual Memorial Day parade, and to notify the proper authorities.

Authorized the town clerk to issue a parade/run/walk permit to the Nissequogue River State Park Foundation to conduct its annual Run/Walk to benefit the

beautification of the park, and to notify the proper authorities.

Authorized seasonal appointments/reappointments in the Recreation Department, at various rates of pay, not to exceed $5,000 per year, effective July 1 to Aug. 31.
