ACTIONS
At its July 13 meeting, the town board:
Authorized the town clerk to issue a parade/run/walk permit
to Kings Park High School for its annual homecoming parade, and to notify the proper authorities.
Authorized the town clerk to issue a special-event permit to the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce for its annual Nesconset Day Festival, and to notify the proper authorities.
Authorized the town clerk to issue a parade/run/walk permit to Smithtown High School West Honor Society for its annual 5K Run, and to notify the proper authorities.
Approved dedication of a portion of Hillside Avenue in St. James through a quitclaim deed.
Approved zoning petition 2009-01 by Ruth Haar/Susan VanDerzee, c/o Vincent J. Trimarco, Esq., 1038 W. Jericho Tpke., Smithtown, for a change of zone from R-10 (residential, 10,000 square feet) to PB (professional business), subject to the conditions stated in a memorandum from Frank DeRubeeis, planning director, dated July 1, for property located on the north side of Townline Road, 268.11 feet west of Opal Court, Hauppauge, SCTM#: 156-2-17; public hearing Feb. 25; SEQRA negative declaration July 13.
Rejected all bids in connection with bid 09-095, for a steel storage building, as per bids opened
Dec. 17.
Approved amendment to resolution 2010-521 of the town board meeting dated June 24, 2010, to read as follows: "Town Clerk to issue a parade/run/walk permit to Smithtown High School West for its annual homecoming parade to be held on Saturday, Oct. 2."
