ACTIONS

At its Aug. 2 meeting,

the town board:

Authorized the comptroller to transfer from account B.0000.2556 (building and occupancy permits overtime) the amount of $3,600, and increase account B.3620.0130 (overtime salary) in the amount of $3,600 (building).

Authorized the comptroller to transfer from account A.5710.0419 (fuel) the amount of $1,700, and transfer to account A.1421.0290 (computer equipment) the amount of $1,700 (public safety).

Authorized the comptroller to transfer from account B.1622.0423 (electric service) the amount of $144,000, and transfer to account B.1990.0900 (contingency) the amount of $144,000 (parks).

Authorized the comptroller to transfer from account A.8510.0200 (equipment) the amount of $144,442.67, and transfer to account A.1315.0150 (accruals) the amount of $73,798.82; and transfer to account A.1990.0900 (contingency) the amount of $70,643,85 (comptroller's).

Authorized the supervisor to execute an extension of agreements for one additional year to Aug. 13, 2011, between the Village of Nissequogue and the fire districts for use of the Edward Mankuski Fire Training Center, on a form approved by the town attorney.

Authorized the supervisor to execute a memorandum of understanding with Greater Long Island Clean Cities Coalition, on a form approved by the town attorney.

Approved a settlement, per recommendation of the town attorney, in State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Co. a/s/o Alisa L. Moshier v. Town of Smithtown in the total amount of $9,917.33.

Approved a settlement, per recommendation of the town attorney, in Suffolk County Water Authority v. Town of Smithtown in the total amount of $346.04.
