At its Feb. 9 meeting, the town board:

Authorized the town clerk to advertise for a public hearing to be held at Town Hall, 99 W. Main St., Smithtown, on March 2 at 2 p.m. to consider a change to Chapter 112-10 of the Code of the Town of Smithtown titled "Building permit required; application and consider a change to Chapter 112-15 entitled Stop work; penalty."

Authorized the town clerk to advertise for bid 10-005: Print Annual Recreation Guide, to be returned to Town Hall, 99 W. Main St., P.O. Box 646, Smithtown, 11787, at 11 a.m. on Feb. 25.
