Sought in Oceanside bank robbery, W. Babylon card fraud
Nassau County Police and their Crime Stoppers unit are seeking help in identifying a man in connection with a bank robbery that recently occurred in Oceanside.
At about 12:55 p.m. on Aug. 15, police say the suspect entered the TD Bank on Long Beach Road and demanded money from one of the tellers. The subject was wearing a striped hoodie and dark sunglasses, police say.

Suffolk County Police and their Crime Stoppers unit are seeking help in identifying a woman who attempted to make an illegal purchase at a Kmart store in West Babylon.
At about 7:30 p.m. on April 5, police say the suspect approached a cashier in the Kmart on Montauk Highway and attempted to use a forged Vanilla Visa gift card to buy an Apple iPod Touch. When questioned about the card, she became nervous and quickly left the store without the merchandise, police say.
The woman, who was wearing a bright yellow shirt under a dark-colored jacket, was last seen entering the passenger side of a white Toyota Camry with California license plates.
