60thMARY AND ANTHONY OLIVARI of East Northport celebrated Sept. 10 with a family dinner party. The couple were sweethearts at Northport High School. Anthony is a retired ceramic tile contractor and motion picture projectionist. Mary worked as a secretary at Pilgrim State Hospital. They have four children, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

ACCARDI of Coram were wed Sept. 16, 1961, at St. Mary Gate of Heaven Church in Queens. They celebrated with a Mediterranean cruise to Spain, France and Italy with their four children and 10 grandchildren. Tony retired as automotive manager at United Parcel Service. Terry is a retired administrative secretary from Three Village School District.
50thJUDY AND RICHIE DESENA of West Islip were wed Aug. 26, 1961. They celebrated with a cruise to Bermuda with their three children, their spouses and six grandchildren. The couple met and started dating as teenagers in Brooklyn. They enjoy spending time with family and traveling back and forth to Florida.
50thETHEL AND BOB KOHLHOFF of Hauppauge celebrated May 13 with a surprise party at the Victorian Room in Bay Shore hosted by their children. The celebration continued with a cruise to Bermuda with their three children and seven grandchildren.
50thSUSAN AND TYLER VOLKES of Baiting Hollow were wed Sept. 23, 1961. They celebrated with a reception at the Miller Beach Surf Club in Miller Place. Susan retired from the Stony Brook Medical Center. Tyler is a retired self-employed mechanical engineer. They have four children and five grandchildren.
30thSUSAN AND JOHN MARTIN of Islip were wed July 11, 1981, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lindenhurst. The Mass was officiated by Susan's uncle, the Rev. Robert Levis of Erie, Pa. They celebrated with dinner at Teller's Restaurant in Islip compliments of their son and daughter-in-law. A trip to Disney World in Florida is planned with their daughter. Susan is a religious educator. John is an environmental specialist. They have two children.
