EDNA AND ARTHUR WAGNER of Riverhead celebrated their June 21 anniversary and Edna's 98th birthday at a dinner with friends at the Birchwood in Riverhead.

ISABELLE AND PAUL VAN ARTS DALEN, residents of Southampton for 55 years, were wed June 8, 1946, in Leesburg, N.J. They celebrated at an outdoor party with friends and relatives. Paul is a Merchant Marine veteran of World War II and continued serving as a yacht captain. He also served with the North Sea Fire Department, on the executive board of the Firemen's Association of the State of New York, and as fire marshall of Southampton Village. Isabelle worked as a legal secretary and as Southampton School District clerk. They have a daughter (another daughter is deceased), five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

HELEN AND VICTOR WELSH of Holbrook celebrated June 22 with a family dinner at The Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip. Victor is a retired New York City schoolteacher and currently works at the Holbrook Library. Helen is retired from the Queens College bursar's office. They have three children, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

DESMOND of Dix Hills celebrated Jan. 22 with dinner at Le Cirque in Manhattan with their three children and four grandchildren. Richard is retired from LILCO in Hicksville. Elaine is a retired special-education teacher with the National Center For Disabilities Services in Albertson.

FRANCES AND DONALD

RISAVICH of Smithtown were wed June 6, 1971, in Forest Hills. They celebrated with a family dinner. Don is an Air Force veteran who served in Vietnam. He has been a Verizon technician for more than 41 years. Fran is a homemaker. They have two children and three grandchildren.

ADRIENNE AND JOEL BENOIT of Babylon Village were wed April 26, 1986, at First Baptist Church in Flushing. They celebrated with a trip to the Poconos. They have four children and one grandson.
