60thROSE AND JOE PERCONTI of Coram were wed Oct. 20, 1951. They celebrated with a family dinner at Luso Restaurant in Smithtown. Joe is a U.S. Army veteran who served in World War II. He retired from P.C. Richard & Son in Hauppauge. Rose retired from Waldbaum's in Farmingville. They have two daughters, a son-in-law and two grandsons.

50thLORRAINE AND HARRY LIPPS of Deer Park were wed Oct. 7, 1961, in Brooklyn. They celebrated with a party at Papa Joe's in Deer Park hosted by their children. The celebration continued with a trip to Sicily. Harry is a certified public accountant with his own practice. Lorraine recently retired from their family-run Carvel store after 27 years. They have three children and six grandchildren.

50thJOAN AND JOHN MEHLER of Bay Shore were wed Oct. 14, 1961. They celebrated with a party at the Bay Shore-Brightwaters Ambulance headquarters. Joan retired from the Bay Shore school district. John retired from the Suffolk County Police Department. They have five children and seven grandchildren.

Eugene is an electronic technician for the U.S. Postal Service in Melville. Sylvia is a secretary for a mortgage banker. They have three children and three grandchildren.
