65thROSEMARY AND JACK
COLAVITO of Riverhead celebrated Aug. 3 with a reception at Georgio's in Baiting Hollow. The couple met while vacationing at a Catskills resort. Jack is a veteran of the 4th Marine Division in World War II and fought in the Battle of Iwo Jima. He retired from LILCO in Hicksville. Rosemary was a Garden City Park beauty salon owner for 35 years. They have three children, five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
50thMARION AND DON CONROY of Brandon, Fla., formerly of Kings Park, were wed July 22, 1961. They celebrated at dinner with family. Don retired from New York Telephone Co. Marion is a homemaker. They have four children, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
50thJOAN AND GEORGE
SCHUMACHER of West Islip celebrated July 1 with a party at Three Village Inn in Stony Brook. The couple are retired teachers from the West Babylon school district. They have three children and three granddaughters.
50thSHEILA AND CHARLES GOLDEN of East Northport were wed Sept. 3, 1961, in Northampton, Mass. They celebrated with a cruise to the Baltic region of Europe, a gift from their children. The celebration continued with a party hosted by their two children, their spouses and five grandchildren. Charles is an attorney with his own practice. Sheila works at a stationery boutique in Huntington Village.
50thSALVATORE AND CHRISTINA PUGLISI of North Babylon celebrated April 29 with a reception at Villa Lombardi's in Holbrook hosted by their 10 children and 17 grandchildren. They were serenaded with Italian music sung by Gino DiNapoli. Salvatore retired from Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. Christina retired from the North Babylon school district.
35thRIVA AND ALAN SCHWARTZ of Dix Hills celebrated Aug. 21. Alan is principal attorney at the law offices of Alan J. Schwartz Pc. in Garden City, where Riva is the business manager. They have one son.
