Suffolk County anniversaries, March 24
65thJEAN AND JOSEPH LUCCA of Wantagh and Florida were wed Jan. 4, 1948, at our Lady of Good Council Roman Catholic Church in Brooklyn. They celebrated with a dinner at the Westbury Manor with family. Joseph retired from the New York City Police Department in 1975. He also served as sergeant in the 78th Infantry Division for three years in World War II. They have four children, six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
50thKATHY AND MIKE HICKEY of Holbrook were wed Nov. 10, 1962. They celebrated with a Mass and renewal of vows at St. Joseph's Church in Ronkonkoma followed by a luncheon at the Irish Coffee Pub in Islip with family and friends. The celebration continued with a cruise to northern Europe. Mike retired from IBEW Local 25 in Hauppauge. Kathy retired from the Internal Revenue Service in Holtsville. They have six children and seven grandchildren.
45thCAROLYN AND PAUL CLARK of Lindenhurst were wed Feb. 24, 1968, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Lindenhurst. They celebrated on a cruise to the Mediterranean. Paul is a U.S. Navy veteran. He retired as a vice president for Bank of Smithtown. Carolyn is a retired registered nurse. They have three children and five grandchildren.
25thPENNY AND MICHAEL ROCCO of Melville were wed Feb. 27, 1988. A celebration with their children is planned. Michael is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He works for Nicholson & Galloway in Glen Head. Penny works for Omni Risk Management in Smithtown. They have two children.
25thMARY AND JOHN SCHRANK of Lindenhurst were wed Nov. 27, 1987. They celebrated with a renewal of vows and a party at the VFW hall in Farmingdale with family and friends. John works for Slant/Fin in Greenvale. Mary works at Lindenhurst High School. They have three sons.
