MARION AND AVRUM BLOOMSTONE of North Massapequa were married on March 20, 1955, in Newburgh. They celebrated at a dinner with family. They enjoy going to the movies and spending time with family. They have four children and five grandchildren.

50th

BARBARA AND JOSEPH LOVAGLIO of Lynbrook were married March 25, 1960. They celebrated with a dinner party at Pompei Restaurant in West Hempstead. Joseph retired as a custodian with the Lynbrook school district, and Barbara is retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. in Lynbrook. They have four daughters and eight grandchildren.

50th

RHODA AND STANLEY SCHNITZER of St. James, formerly of Valley Stream, were married at Aperion Manor in Brooklyn Feb. 28, 1960. They celebrated with a family dinner at La Famiglia in Smithtown hosted by their children. A cruise to the Bahamas is planned. Stanley is a retired pharmacist, and Rhoda is a retired bookkeeper. They have three children and three grandsons.

50th

THE REV. SHIRLEY AND ERMA SAUNDERS of Middle Island were married Sept. 5, 1959, in Southampton. Shirley retired from the Suffolk County Water Authority in 1993. After 30 years of service, he now pastors the Feed My Sheep Missionary Baptist Church in Medford. Their seven children, 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild gave them a dinner party at the Mill Pond Catering Center in Medford, where they renewed their vows. They then took an eight-day Caribbean cruise.

IDA AND HAROLD JAILAL of Port Jefferson celebrated March 8 with a trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C. Harold is in the accounting department at Global Tissue Group in Medford. Ida works at Omega Moulding in Medford. They have two daughters and five grandchildren.

TERRYANN AND GEORGE MILANI of Centereach were married on March 9, 1985, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Northport. They celebrated with their two children and family with a brunch at Snapper Inn in Oakdale where they renewed their vows.
