RUTH AND JOHN TERRASI celebrated April 19 at the West Hempstead home in which they have lived for more than 50 years. They recently attended the wedding of their oldest granddaughter (both couples pictured above) where they won the bouquet as the longest married couple in the anniversary dance. They enjoy gardening, movies and home-cooked meals. Their three children, spouses and six grandchildren keep their schedule busy. John recently visited Washington, D.C., with the VFW on a trip honoring veterans.

FRANCES AND NORMAN SMITH of Melville celebrated on June 12. Norman is a retired hairdresser, colorist and salon owner who volunteers for Cancer Care as a wig stylist for women with cancer. Frances is retired from Geico in Woodbury. They have three children and three grandsons.
50th
BERNADETTE AND ANTHONY MERLO of Massapequa were married April 30, 1960. They celebrated with family and friends at the 56th Fighter Group restaurant in Farmingdale. Both are retired from Cristina's Bake Shop in Merrick. A summer vacation is planned with their three children, spouses and four grandchildren.
50th
MARGARET AND ED REYNOLDS of Selden were married May 26, 1960, in England, while Ed was serving in the Air Force. Ed is retired from the Air Force, State Farm Insurance and the Town of Brookhaven where he was a councilman. He served 20 years on the board of education in the Middle Country School District. Margaret is a homemaker. They have three children, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

JOYCE AND PETER RILEY of Punta Gorda, Fla., formerly of Kings Park, celebrated May 21 with a surprise trip to Paradise Island, Bahamas, a gift from their children. They both grew up in Uniondale. Peter is a retired locomotive engineer with the Long Island Rail Road. Joyce worked many years at Barrington's Restaurant in East Islip. They have three children and five grandchildren.

CHRISTINE AND GEORGE TOURTOULIS of North Massapequa were married May 10, 1975. They celebrated with a trip to Aruba, where they honeymooned 35 years ago. They have two daughters.
