Nassau police and their Crime Stoppers department are looking for a woman they say stole from a North Merrick liquor store.

At 1 p.m. on April 17, the woman was seen on video surveillance allegedly stealing about $230 worth of liquor from Aces Wine and Spirits on Merrick Avenue in North Merrick.

Suffolk police and theirCrime Stoppers department are looking for a man they say took another person's bag from a Lindenhurst restaurant.

Police say that at about 1 p.m. on Nov. 11, the man entered the Applebee's restaurant on Wellwood Avenue with a backpack hanging from his left arm. When he noticed an unattended travel bag, police say, he picked it up and put it in his backpack. The travel bag and its contents were valued at $700.
