Wanted: Cellphone theft; stolen car engine
Nassau police and their Crime Stoppers unit are looking for two men suspected of stealing cellphones from a Cedarhurst store.
Police say that about 11:15 a.m. on Dec. 31, the men went into an AT&T store at 316 Rockaway Tpke. and ran from the store with five cellphones estimated to be worth $3,600.
The suspects were seen getting into a burgundy Acura Legend.

Suffolk police and their Crime Stoppers department are looking for a man who stole a car engine from a Huntington auto repair shop.
Police say that about 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 19, a man is seen on surveillance video taking a Subaru car engine from the Auto Tech repair shop at 116 Spring Rd. According to police, he is then seen loading the engine before leaving the scene in what appears to be a white Toyota Matrix with Hello Kitty seat covers.
