Wanted: Freeport murder; bank robber
Nassau police and its Crime Stoppers department are looking for information about a Freeport murder.
Police said that at about 2:40 a.m. on June 13, a woman was shot on the bridge at Milburn Creek Park located between Merrick Road and Atlantic Avenue. She died a few days later from her injuries.
Police are not sure why Kelly McGuire, 43, of Freeport, was on the bridge, which divides Baldwin and Freeport.

Suffolk police and its Crime Stoppers department are looking for a man suspected in a bank robbery and an attempted robbery in East Northport.
Police said that on July 13, the man entered the passenger side of a woman's car at the drive-up window at a Chase Bank, said he had a gun and demanded money. After taking the cash, he got out of the car and ran. Earlier in the day, police believe the same man attempted to rob someone taking cash from a Bank of America ATM, also in East Northport.
