Nassau police and its Crime Stoppers department are looking for a woman in connection with a petty larceny that occurred in Massapequa.

Police say that about 3:35 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 1, the woman and a male accomplice (he has been identified, said police) removed about $270 worth of clothing from the Kohl's located at 5300 Sunrise Highway. They left in a red 1994 Ford Explorer.

Suffolk police and its Crime Stoppers department are looking for a person who they said stole merchandise from an Islandia store.

Police said that at about 2:50 a.m., a man broke through an interior wall from an adjacent store into Omni Sports Plaza, located at 1806 Veterans Memorial Highway, and stole numerous pairs of footwear and apparel. He appears to be in his late teens to early 20s.
