HOYE-BARNABA

Alana Rose Hoye and John-Paul Barnaba were married on July 1 at The Grandview in Poughkeepsie with a reception following. She owns Ahoy New York Tours and Tasting Llc in Manhattan and is the daughter of Patricia and Daniel Hoye of Gloversville. The bridegroom is a history teacher for the New York Archdiocese in the Bronx and is the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Barnaba of Westbury and Kathleen and John Hakker of Greenland, N.H. The bride earned a master's in French literature from Syracuse University. The groom earned a master's in public policy from Stony Brook University. They live in Astoria, Queens.
