She is a teacher for Bay Shore School District and is the daughter of Robert and Sandra Fliedner of Sayville. The bridegroom is a teacher for Brentwood School District and is the son of Steven and Francine Mulderig of Sayville. The bride earned a bachelor of arts from St. Joseph's College and a master's degree from LIU Brentwood. The groom earned a bachelor of science from SUNY Oswego and a master's degree from Stony Brook University. They live in Patchogue.
