Amber Davis and Joseph Fontana were married Sept. 3 at Gardens at the Inn at East Wind in Wading River with a reception following. She is an assistant to the director at the Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh, N.C., and is the daughter of Marcie and Steve Milicevich of Vacaville, Calif. The bridegroom is a postdoctoral researcher for University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and is the son of Adeline and John Fontana of Moriches. The bride earned a bachelor of science in marketing / business from California State University, Sacramento. The groom earned a PhD from University of California, San Diego. They live in Cary, N.C.
