She is an occupational therapist for Making Milestones in Manhattan and is the daughter of Ileene and Fred Adler of Bellmore. The bridegroom is a senior analyst for NextGen Healthcare and is the son of Susan and Richard Janowitz of North Potomac, Md. The bride earned a bachelor's degree in biology from Towson University and a master's in occupational therapy from American International College. The groom earned a bachelor's degree in mass communications from Towson University. They live in Astoria, Queens.
