Caitlin McShane and Patrick Carew were married Oct. 22 at the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Manhattan. The reception was at Bridgewaters at South Street Seaport in Manhattan. She is an early education teacher and is the daughter of George and Kathleen McShane of Smithtown. The bridegroom is a New York City police officer and is the son of Thomas and Claire Carew of Rockville Centre. The bride earned a bachelor of arts degree from The George Washington University and is pursuing a master's degree from St. John's University. The bridegroom earned a bachelor of arts degree from Manhattan College. They live in Nassau County.
