Christina Bové and Brian Ruskin were married Sept. 26 at St. Rose of Lima Church in Massapequa. She is an emergency veterinarian for Animal Emergency Clinic SH 249 in Houston and is the daughter of Kathy and John Bové of Massapequa. The bridegroom is a geologist for Shell International Exploration and Production Inc. in Houston and is the son of Patricia and John Ruskin of Pittsburgh. The bride earned a bachelor of science in biology from Cornell University and a doctor of veterinary medicine from Cornell University. The groom earned a doctorate in geology from Cornell University. They live in Houston.
