Courtney Abarno and Brandon Sprung were married Oct. 2 at The Thatched Cottage in Centerport with a reception following. The bride is a dental hygienist for a private practice in Milford, Conn., and is the daughter of Faith and John Abarno of Vestal, formerly of Holtsville. The bridegroom is a medical doctor for Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Conn., and is the son of Barbara and Lance Sprung of Smithtown. The bride earned a bachelor's degree from Binghamton University. The groom earned a bachelor's degree from Binghamton University and graduated from Stony Brook Medical School. They live in Hamden, Conn.
