She is an attorney for the Social Security Administration in Manhattan and is the daughter of Patricia and Michael Moran of Dix Hills. The bridegroom is a freelance television editor in Manhattan and is the son of Gayle Zimmermann of Middletown, N.J., and the late R. Erik Zimmermann. The bride earned a juris doctor degree from Hofstra University. The groom earned a bachelor of arts in broadcast journalism from the University of Maryland. They live in Manhattan.
