Wedding: Danielle Uchniat, Daniel Carter

Danielle Uchniat and Daniel Carter were married Oct. 16 at the Full Moon Resort in upstate Big Indian with a reception following. She is a special-needs educator in Brooklyn and is the daughter of Lisa Lopez of Franklin Square and John Uchniat of Telford, Pa. The groom is a student and is the son of Anne and Donald Carter of New Hyde Park. The bride attended Adelphi University. The groom earned a bachelor's degree from Adelphi and is pursuing a medical degree from SUNY Downstate. They live in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
