Denise Quintyne and Nelson Baker were married Aug. 31 at Refuge Church of Christ in Freeport. The reception was at Jericho Terrace in Mineola. She is a consultant for Child Care Council of Suffolk Inc. and is the daughter of Delores Quintyne of Amityville and the late Irwin Quintyne. The bridegroom is an operations manager for Estes Express Lines and is the son of Irene Baker of Paterson, N.J., and the late Plummer Baker. The bride earned a degree in education from the Berklee College of Music. The groom earned a degree in political science from Ramapo College and served in the U.S. military. They live in Newark, Del.
