Devon Elizabeth Rufe and Joseph Charles Cornell were wed Nov. 26 at the Azul Hotel in Puerto Morelos, Mexico, with a reception following. She is a foreign language teacher for Central Islip School District and is the daughter of Elizabeth Marino of Patchogue and Regis Rufe of Seaford. The bridegroom is a mathematics teacher for Central Islip High School, a track coach for St. Anthony's High School and a Fire Island lifeguard. He is the son of Joann and Don Cornell of East Islip. The bride earned a master's degree from Stony Brook University. The groom earned a master's degree from St. John's University. They live in Bay Shore.
